The context regards clean solutions, or rather, inclusion of new clean solutions into production and economic processes that allow, at the origin, a reduction of emissions into the environment, reduction of energy and resources consumption, and reduction in waste production. This area of the Cluster concerns the integration of enabling technologies in industrial processes, such as plasma nanotechnologies, the development of highly environmentally sustainable materials and solutions according to LCA and LCC criteria, the development of solutions based on natural materials for the construction and industrial sectors, preemptive compliance with environmental regulatory frameworks described by European directives such as REACH and the product certification and qualification systems (ECODESIGN directive).
