The CLEVER Cluster (Cleantech&Energy innoVation clustER) is one of the 7 Innovation Clusters of the Piedmont Region and operates in the Energy and Clean Technologies field. The Cluster's technological and operative areas are energy and energy efficiency, water resources, the circular economy, climate change for infrastructures and distribution networks, sustainable mobility and clean solutions.
CLEVER aims to supporting its members in the development of their innovation path, through the supply of services, technical and methodological support and dedicated infrastructures.
Specifically, CLEVER aims to:
supporting the convergence of investments in innovative products or services The Cluster is currently composed of more than 160 members, small and medium-sized enterprises, innovative start-ups, public and private research bodies and large enterprises.
The Piemonte Region established and co-financed the Innovation Clusters starting from 2010 (link to focus regional and old Clusters), and in the European Regional Development Fund Operational Programme 2014/ 2020, it has identified the 7 thematic areas in which the Clusters are called upon to operate:
CLEVER was born in 2016 from the integration of POLIGHT and ENERMHY, whose managing authorities, Environment Park and Univer, proposed a joint three-year programme for the area of Energy and Clean Technologies.
